This course is for childminders who have the lead/designated role for child protection. Childminders need to have completed the Introduction to Child Protection course within the last two years. It is recommended that at least six months have lapsed after the Introduction course; this is to enable Childminders to embed practice.
- Recognise the importance of inter-agency working to promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young people
- Improve your knowledge and understanding of your own responsibilities
- Explore the balance between vulnerability and resilience for children and families in need
- Opportunity for participants to share good practice and build up a network of support.
